of course im still messing around with croquis, watermarks, sketching styles arughghga
bridesmaid gown on left, bridal gown on right (obviously)
details: so i wanted to design wedding gowns that the non-traditional bride would love to wear (think, punk gals, etc...) i have a lot of friends who would never ever get married in the traditional wedding gown (you know, the uber frou frou romantic style) so of course i took this as a challenge.
anywayss... remember the awesome-sauce Alexander Wang collection where the garments look like they're floating? i kind of wanted to create this sort of effect, but instead have chains connecting the pieces to make the structure (and some mad boning). the little widths on the edges are leather fabric (for the structuring), there are also sheer/mesh panels. both gowns have a rounded hem, and is longer in the back. bridesmaid dress worn with patent leather pumps with silver cap toe, bride is wearing platform sheer booties with strip detail in front. bride has veil headdress with feathers. err, feel free to ask if you have any questions..
